  Spring church of Christ          Contending for the Faith contentiously

David P. Brown is the preacher for this congregation.
Each February the Spring church of Christ hosts the Spring Contending For The Faith Lectures.  David P.Brown uses these lectureships to not only attack what he considers are denominational organizations but fellow churches of Christ as well.

    Kenneth D. Cohen is one of the elders and co-owner of the Contending of the Faith publication.Kenneth stated at a recent lectureship " We teach the truth! " Unfortunately, they do not teach the truth in many areas.

            Mat 23 : 1-3              Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
                Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
              All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do;
              but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
 

I am reminded of the verses above when I think of this devisive nature of this congregation.Unfortunately, today we can't follow Jesus' instructions:

          
               whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do;

Because this part of the verses applies equally to the Spring church of Christ and her associates :

              but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. 

The Spring church of Christ consistently teaches hypocrisy!
